Sonu Nigam files FIR against MLA's son who manhandled him and colleagues at Mumbai event; Police probing case

  Vocalist Sonu Nigam was pushed and his two partners mistreated supposedly by the child of a MLA during a fight over taking

 selfie with the artist at a melodic occasion in Mumbai, police said on Tuesday. 

 A partner of Nigam was harmed in the occurrence which occurred at Chembur Gymkhana on Monday night after the vocalist's live execution, 

cIn light of a protest recorded by Nigam, the Chembur police enlisted a FIR against Swapnil Phaterpekar, 

 the child of nearby Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Phaterpekar, under Indian Corrective Code Segments 323 (deliberately causing hurt), 341 (unfair limitation), 

  337 (causing hurt by act jeopardizing life or individual wellbeing of others), the authority said.

 As per Nigam's protest, he and his partners were leaving the stage after the exhibition when a man, later recognized as Swapnil Phaterpekar,

 came from the back and seized the vocalist. The charged obviously needed to take a selfie with the vocalist.

 According to the grumbling, Nigam's partner Hari Prakash attempted to stop the denounced and approached him. In any case, 

 the blamed supposedly mauled Prakash because of which he tumbled down from the stage, the authority said citing the objection.
