Public Math Day 2022: 10 realities about Srinivasa Ramanujan's life and work

December 22 is commended as Public Arithmetic Day in India. It is the birth commemoration of Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

Because of his aversion for non-numerical subjects, he bombed tests there. He had signed up for Madras'

Pachaiyappa School at 14 years old. In 1912, Ramanujan began filling in as a representative in the Madras Port Trust.
