 Bollywood entertainer Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan documented a protest after her precious stone studded gold gems worth around ₹ 5 lakh was supposedly taken from her home in rural Khar in Mumbai,

 following which the police captured her homegrown assistance, an authority said on Wednesday.

 The episode occurred on Monday and the 30-year-old charged was captured the following day from adjoining Thane region, he said.

  "Blamed Sandip Hegde deserted with precious stone studded gold gems worth around ₹ 5 lakh from Arpita Khan's home situated on seventeenth Street in Khar.

 After the episode became known, Arpita moved toward the police and held up a grumbling," the authority of Khar police headquarters said.

 In light of her protest, the police sent off a test and filtered the CCTV film from the area, he said.

 "With the assistance of specialized and different sources of info, the police captured the charged on Tuesday from Thane for the supposed robbery of the adornments," the authority said.

 A body of evidence was enrolled against him under segments of the Indian Punitive Code (IPC), including 381 (burglary by representative or worker), he said, adding that further examination is being done.
